Starting from Monaco on 30 December 2018, the 11th Edition of the Africa Eco Race consisted of 15 days of intense competitive adventure full of surprises and challenges following the tracks of Dakar founder Thierry Sabine.

The formidable team 'Enduring 2000 Racing', supported by Isuzu Motors International Operations (Thailand) Co., Ltd., won the T1.2 diesel four-wheel drive class and finished in 18th place outright. There were 45 vehicles that started the race and only 36 that finished.
The superb 1.9-litre turbo Isuzu D-Max with its original engine containing standard components along with a standard gearbox and drivetrain tackled the amazing Moroccan desert, the savage Mauritanian and Senegalese landscapes to cross the finish line at the famous pink lake of Senegal, Rose Lac, completing every tough race kilometre and obstacle along the way.
The Isuzu D-Max's array of features and options make it a logical choice for a working pick-up. Its Rally proven turbo diesel engine meets Euro 6 standards without the need for AdBlue, unlike most of its competitors, and boasts a 3.5-ton towing capacity, while providing a quiet, economical driving experience. The breadth of the range also impresses, with single, extended and double-cab formats available, as well as a wide choice of trim levels.
