Exactly half a century since the Classic E-Type ceased production, and on the model's 50th anniversary, Jaguar has released two one-of-a-kind Works Bespoke commissions exclusively created for a client in Southeast Asia.
Both Commemorative vehicles are the embodiment of the E-Type, each of which boast unique hand-built specification and stringent attention to every detail.
Both cars are drophead coupes with unique specifications, with one clad in Signet Green and the other in Opal Black - updates of the original 1974 colour schemes.
The interior of the Bespoke commissions exudes a timeless concept, featuring Bridge of Weir tan leather seats hand-woven in the Jaguar Classic trim shop. Bespoke elements, like an anodised aluminium centre console engraved with an early Series I E-Type blueprint, adorn the interior.
The steering wheel horn push sports a silver finish with an 18-carat Growler badge and mother of pearl inlay, while a sterling silver gear knob with mother of pearl and 18-carat gold Growler detail further exudes a sense of luxury.
At the front of the cars, the motif bar badge is finished in silver with guilloche mother of pearl and an 18-carat gold Growler icon, while the rear badges are enamelled sterling silver.
Under the bonnet, both cars are equipped with the famous 3.8-litre engine, now with Electronic Fuel Injection, and a Jaguar Classic five-speed manual gearbox striving to deliver the perfect mix of driving engagement and everyday usability.
Subtle features like a Bluetooth radio and a heated windscreen offer modern comforts while retaining the classic look of the E-Type's interior.
