Kia launches Forte Koup SX-R in Canada

The SX-R package comes with styling and performance accessories and is based on the Forte Koup's SX trim, and will be available to Canadian buyers as a dealer-installed after market kit from mid-May.

The styling additions include a five-piece body kit with a pair of front lip spoiler, chunky side skirts and a discreet boot lid spoiler. The looks are further enhanced by the addition of 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohoma S-drive tires, and 'R' branded badges and door sills.

While Kia has not made any modifications to the 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, which produces 173bhp, there are some changes to help improve the handling and performance, such as the addition of a sport exhaust, AEM air filter, new springs that lower the ride height by 1.3 inches and a strut bar to improve handling.
