The Kia Optima K5 sedan and Sportage SUV, two popular models among its fleet of exciting models, have been provided with a facelift - with a more refined design and bringing about more cabin amenities to aid the driver.
Kia's Frankfurt-based design team improved the overall design of the Optima K5 including the brand's signature grille. The sedans bold stance and aerodynamic shape are further accentuated by updated rear diffusers and a sweeping trunk lid.
The lightning instruments highlight the front fascia with front LED positioning HID headlamps and four point LED fog lights, along with a newly designed clear LED lamps in the rump.
The K5 is fitted with an eight speaker, Infinity sound system, as standard that is controlled via a fingertip sensitive control. The new d-shaped multi-functional steering wheel with paddle shifters enhances the sedan's sporty appeal - with all important information within the driver's reach.
New seat designs ensure a comfortable drive while a new Blind Spot Detection system provides convenience along with Cross-Traffic Alert and parking sensors.

Under the hood is a new Theta Two, 2.4-litre engine, which generates 177bhp and 231Nm of torque while emitting 197g/100km - linked to a six-speed automatic.
Meanwhile, Kia has provided the Sportage SUV a bold and refreshing look while maintaining its stature on the roads. The Flex Steer system is also available now, which allows drivers to adjust the level of steering assistance and feedback at the touch of a button.
Driving comfort is enhanced with ventilated seats for the driver - keeping the man behind the wheel cool and comfortable on humid days - a nifty feature in our tropics.
Performance comes from a new 2.0-litre petrol engine which delivers 163bhp and 197Nm of torque. The lump returns 11.3km/L while emitting 204g/km. Alternatively, a 2.0-litre CRDi diesel variant is also available with 181bhp and 392Nm of torque. It sips a litre of diesel for every 13.9km while emitting 189g/km.
