Kia will celebrate its first appearance at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Korean automaker will commemorate this momentous milestone with two extraordinary vehicles - its highly anticipated new electric car, the Kia EV6, as well as the sensational, one-off Kia Stinger GT420.
Making its U.K. debut, the Kia EV6 will form the showpiece of the 'Electric Avenue - The Road to 2030' presented by Sky Zero, a must-see new exhibit designed to showcase the breadth of electric vehicles available now and in the near future.
The EV6 is the first Kia to be based on the revolutionary Electric-Global Modular Platform architecture. The vehicle promises a range of up to 508km, and needs as little as 18 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. Kia's engineers are targeting a 3.5 second zero 100km/h sprint for the EV6 GT.
Accompanying the EV6 is the incredible Stinger GT420. This one-off, in-house developed track car features a staggering 422bhp and 560Nm of torque from its 3.3-litre V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine. Customised suspension tuning, substantial weight reduction, and uprated Brembo brakes give it impressive handling capabilities.
