Koenigsegg celebrates 100th car with Hundra
06 Mar 2013|5,036 views
Koenigsegg may have been established back in 1994, but it didn't deliver its first car to a customer until 2002. Ten years later, the Swedish supercar manufacturer began work on its one-hundredth car, which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
Called the Hundra, which stands for 100 in Swedish, Koenigsegg's celebratory one-off creation is based on a new version of the company's current supercar called the Agera S.
Mechanicals are unknown for this hypercar, but based on the latest version of the Agera, the Agera R, over 1,000bhp from its 5.0-litre V8 twin turbo is expected.
As unique as it can get, the hypercar features clear carbon fibre bodywork decorated with hand laid and swirled 24-carat gold leaf inlays.
Pricing details have not been released, but sources reveal that it will be something similar to the Lamborghini Veneno, which was also unveiled in Geneva.
