Lamborghini reaches production milestone of 2,000 units for the mighty Aventador

On top of celebrating its 50th Anniversary, Automobili Lamborghini has reached a production milestone for the Aventador flagship - with 2,000 units produced till date. Finished in Nero Nemesis, the supercar with chassis number 2,000, rolled off the assembly line for Thaddeus Arroyo, Chief Intelligence Officer for AT&T, who is also the proud owner of a Gallardo 550-2 Sypder.
The Sant' Agata Bolognese plant's productivity has noticeably increased for the 4,000 unit limited Aventador LP 700-4. Compared to its predecessor - the Murcielago - which took four and a half years to reach a similar milestone, the Aventador has achieved it in just over two years, with production of nearly five cars per day.
In 2013, the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster joined its coupe sibling. Initial pre-order expectations for this model have been exceeded and the order bank for both versions covers more than one year.
