Lamborghini has joined in on the activities of the I.C.E at St. Moritz with two Miuras.
First up in the icy motoring event and international concours d'elegance was the Polo Storico-certified one-off Miura P400 S 'Millechiodi'.
Lamborghini Polo Storico also invited the Iron Dames team of women race drivers to take a Miura P400 SV on the ice at St. Moritz This car left Sant'Agata Bolognese in November 1969, and was owned by a number of Italian owners before coming under ownership of Giovanni Sotgiu and Walter Ronchi, owners of a Lamborghini dealership in Milan and the first owners of Bob Wallace's Miura Jota.
After having been involved in an accident, Sotgiu and Ronchi opted to have the Miura P400 S modified into something more racecar-like, in the spirit of the Jota.
This Miura P400 S 'Millechiodi' was thus born, after having used so many rivets to join together its body panels (Millechiodi is Italian for 'a thousand nails'). The car was restored in 2018 and certified by Lamborghini Polo Storico in 2020.
Lamborghini Polo Storico also invited the Iron Dames team of women race drivers who recently debuted behind the wheel of the Huracan GT3 EVO2 at the 24 hours of Daytona to take a Lamborghini Miura P400 SV on the ice at St. Moritz - offering them a unique opportunity to appreciate the iconic Lamborghini supercar in a unique and unconventional setting.
