Land Rover U.K. has given its AWD Discovery Sport lineup a refresh with the Dynamic S trim, as well as two new editions: Metropolitan and Landmark.
Available with up to seven seats, Discovery Sport's versatile and spacious interior ensures generous room and comfort for all, with up to 24 possible seat configurations, a sliding and reclining second row, and a flexible load area of up to 1,794-litres for five-seater models and 1,651-litres for seven-seater models.
Every Discovery Sport features a digital instrument cluster and steering wheel‑mounted gearshift paddles as standard, while the centre console has an elegant floating 11.4‑inch curved glass touchscreen.
The Dynamic S trim features Gloss Black lower body sides and a Discovery script in addition to the Gloss Black grille, wheel arches, lower bumpers, and front claw detailing.
The Discovery Sport Metropolitan edition's exterior is distinguished by an 'Atlas Silver Discovery' script on its bonnet and tailgate, and Indus Silver front and rear undershields. The front grille features a silver foil insert, while Metropolitan branded treadplates are revealed when its doors are open. It also has new 20‑inch alloy wheels, optionally available with a Gloss Black finish.
Inside, the Metropolitan edition features include a Windsor Leather with 14‑way electrically adjustable heated and cooled seats, a 14-speaker surround sound system, Clearsight Rear View Mirror, and Cabin Air Purification Plus, among others.
As for the Landmark edition, it sports the mountain range logo that was first seen on the aluminium treadplates of the original 1989 Discovery. At night, the logo illuminates on the ground when unlocking the vehicle, with puddle lights projecting from the underside of the door mirrors. The special edition model also highlights the exceptional versatility of the Discovery Sport range, with slide and recline functionality for the second row seats and a panoramic roof to create a light and airy cabin.
The AWD Discovery Sport continues to be offered with a range of PHEVs and mild hybrid options, with the former offering a WLTP electric range of up to 61km and offering the ability to rapid charge via a direct current charger, allowing them to be topped up from flat to an 80% state-of-charge in as little as 30 minutes.
