Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg greet F1 fans in Singapore

To celebrate the upcoming Formula One Singapore Grand Prix, Mercedes-Benz presented an exclusive meet-and-greet session in Singapore with the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.

The winning team from Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team - 2008 F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton as well as 2013 Monaco and Silverstone GP Champion Nico Rosberg met exciting fans of the team, and members of the media at The Great Hall of Millenia Walk.

This year, Nico Rosberg set the team up for a strong season after utilising his pole position to top the medal podium at the 2013 Monaco Grand Prix.

Uplifted by their victory, the team went on to win two more legs in the season, with Rosberg claiming his second win in a nail-biting British GP and Lewis Hamilton taking his first for the team at the Hungarian Grand Prix to push Mercedes-Benz up to third spot in the 2013 Formula One World Championship.

An ardent fan of Lewis Hamilton and the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, eight-year old Alex Kattoulas, had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share the stage with the champion duo - Hamilton and Rosberg.

A go-kart racer himself, Alex waited for over six hours to meet his biggest inspiration in motor racing, and presented Hamilton with his favourite Haribo candies, and a picture of his own Go-kart car, designed to look like Hamilton's 2013 Formula One car, the F1W04.
