Based on the firm's GA-K platform, the new SUV measures in at 5,159mm in length and 1,988mm wide, making it larger than the Lexus RX.

Elsewhere in the cabin, the Lexus TX will get a 12.3 multi-information display, paired with a 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display complete with wireless Apple CarPlay Integration and Android Auto compatibility.
The SUV also comes with a 21-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System as standard, while customers may opt for a head-up display in the U.S.A.
And on the exterior, the TX has the sheet metal to communicate this versatility. Up front, a Lexus 'Unified Spindle' grille, comprising of horizontal elements, features delivering a sense of mass and the necessary cooling performance. This sits under a narrow aperture that runs beneath the leading edge of the hood, which links the car's head lights.
And at the rear, the car comes with L-shaped taillights as well as a blacked out rear pillar. A choice of 20 or 21-inch rims are offered depending on the selected trim level to add to the TX’s planted stance.
The Lexus TX range in the U.S.A starts with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder delivering 271bhp, as seen in the Lexus NX and Lexus RX.
A 2.4-litre hybrid powertrain is also available, offering a total of 361bhp. This drivetrain, Lexus states, will give the TX a fuel economy of 10.2km/L.
A 400bhp plug-in hybrid drivetrain is also offered, which utilises a 3.5-litre V6. This drivetrain will give the TX a 53km electric-only range.
