Land Rover's Discovery AWD lineup in the U.K. has strengthened its family appeal by introducing a pair of new models: Tempest and Gemini.
The Discovery Tempest is the brand's new flagship model and is described as the most luxurious, comfortable, and highly‑specified Discovery ever produced. It is available with a choice of three body colours: Charente Grey, Varesine Blue, or Carpathian Grey paint.
Also, all body colours for the Tempest will come with a Matte Protective Film.
The Tempest comes with a Petra Copper Gloss roof finish as standard with Narvik Gloss Black as an option. This is complemented by a Petra Copper Gloss finish for exterior design details including the wing vent, Discovery script, and lower bumper inserts.
In addition, the Tempest's 22‑inch Diamond Turned Style 5124 alloy wheel design sports Petra Copper tinted lacquer and Gloss Black detailing, which is exclusive to the model.
The Tempest is further identified by unique badging for the B‑pillars, treadplates, puddle lamps, and interior finishers. Furthermore, its cabin is enhanced with Shadow Aluminium detailing and extended Ebony Windsor leather upholstery.
Moving on to the Discovery Gemini, it is available in six exterior colours, including Sedona Red (unique to this edition), with a Narvik Gloss Black contrast roof. The Gloss Black detailing, which extends to the lower body cladding and front wing vents, is complemented by an Atlas Gloss grille surround and Discovery script.
The model also features a Gemini‑specific graphic on the B‑pillar badges and treadplates, as well as 21‑inch split‑seven‑spoke Style 7001 alloy wheels finished in Diamond Turned Silver.
Other comfort and convenience features include a cooler compartment located between the front seats, Click & Go media holders for rear seat occupants, and three‑zone climate control.
Both seven-seat SUV models will come with a 3.0-litre diesel engine with 48V mild hybrid technology, delivering an output of 345bhp and 700Nm of torque.
The new Tempest and Gemini models will join the existing trim line‑up of S, Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, and the Metropolitan edition, which all now feature enhanced specifications.
