A brand-new, limited-time exhibition titled "Porsche Unseen Design Studies" has been launched at the Curvistan Bangkok, supported by Porsche itself and stemming from a collaboration between Stefan Bogner, creator of Curves magazine, and Chanond Ruangkritya, CEO of Porsche Design Tower Bangkok.
The exhibition will feature a collection of "Unseen" projects, which are concept cars created under Michael Mauer, Vice President Style Porsche of the Porsche Design Studio.
The highlight of the event is the "Vision Spyder", which drew inspiration from the modest sizing and lightweight ingenuity of Porsche cars in the 1950s, and in particular the 550 Spyder. As a result, the "Vision Spyder" features a spartan cockpit, flat radiator grille over the mid-engine, red racing stripes, and modest fins at the rear.
Attendees can also catch a sneak preview of the one-off Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade ahead of its official Thailand premiere in December 2024.
The exhibition also features other 1:3 scale model concepts like the Macan "Vision Safari", hypercar concepts like the "Vision 918 RS" and "Vision 920", and the "Vision E", a design experiment imagining what a Formula E car homologated for customer racing might look like.
The exhibition will run from 22 November 2024 to 28 February 2025 at Curvistan Bangkok. Entry is free, with opening hours from 8:00am to 6:00pm Thailand time.
