LTA announces COE supply for August to October

COE premiums have been holding generally steady for the first half of this year (save for Cat A that is), but there might be some relief up ahead.
The LTA has announced the upcoming COE supply for the upcoming quarter from August 2024 to October 2024, and it is generally good news.
COE supply is set to increase across all categories except for category E in the quarter spanning August to October 2024 when compared to this quarter
The total Certificate of Entitlement quota for the quarter will be 15,283, an increase from this current quarter's total supply of 15,104. The supply of COEs for categories A, B, and C will increase in the upcoming quarter compared to this one, while the total COE supply for category E will see a small decrease compared to this outgoing quarter. The COE supply for motorcycles, meanwhile, will stay equal in the upcoming quarter compared to this current one, at exactly 3,105.
