Maserati has announced that it plans to become the first luxury car brand to offer a fully-electric version of every model in its lineup, a goal it will accomplish by 2025.
As part of this transformation, the next GranTurismo (the car teased in the images above) will go all-electric, already set for a 2023 launch. The new model will be manufactured at the Mirafiori production hub, and is said to offer cutting-edge technical solutions derived from Formula E, alongside high performance, comfort and elegance.
The upcoming Grecale SUV, already set for launch come 22 March 2022, will also get an all-electric variant, which is scheduled to launch in 2024. These two models will be accompanied by an all-electric version of the MC20 supercar, a new Quattroporte sport sedan and an all new Levante SUV by 2025.
Maserati recorded a total of 24,269 vehicles delivered to customers worldwide in 2021, representing a 41% year-on-year growth.
