McLaren Automotive's latest Ultimate Series supercar, the stunning 789bhp McLaren Senna, will soon be accessible to a new audience, one that will be able to experience the thrill of getting behind the wheel as part of McLaren's latest collaboration with Microsoft's Forza racing franchise in the highly anticipated Forza Horizon 4.
As the cover star of the latest entry in the award-winning Forza Horizon series, the McLaren Senna also made its U.S.A debut at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles on 12th June, starring as the centrepiece of Microsoft's Mixer booth where fans got their first chance to try the McLaren Senna in Forza Horizon 4.
This latest partnership between the British creator of luxury sports cars and supercars and Microsoft follows a rich history of collaboration where McLaren cars have been featured extensively throughout the Forza catalogue, including the McLaren P1, which debuted on stage at E3 2013 and was the cover star of Forza Motorsport 5.
"We are delighted to be working so closely with Microsoft on their Forza racing franchise. Video games are now so realistic and our relationship with Forza has been a powerful tool both to grow brand awareness and show what makes McLaren cars so special," said Jolyon Nash, Executive Director of Global Sales & Marketing for McLaren Automotive.
"So few people will ever get the chance to pilot the McLaren Senna, but now a whole new audience can experience the thrill of driving our ultimate track car virtually on the roads of Britain."
"We are proud of our long-term partnership with McLaren with whom we have a rich history," adds Alan Hartman, Studio Head of Turn 10 Studios. "We look forward to creating even more ground-breaking moments and experiences together, and will continue to share our common passion for delivering automotive entertainment to both gaming and driving enthusiasts alike."
