Mercedes-AMG has updated the GLA45 with a host of visual and equipment upgrades.
On the outside, the performance crossover now gets a redesigned front apron, and now dons the AMG crest on its bonnet - the latter a touch we first saw on the Mercedes-AMG C63 S E.
The car also now gets head lights that sport a new light signature, while at the rear, the taillights also now get new visual accents. The GLA45 is also now available with Multibeam LED head lights as an added option.
From the flank, the car's wheel arch extensions are also now finished in the same colour as the exterior. These house 20-inch wheels that also house red brake callipers as standard, although new rim designs that include a 19-inch item in bicolor Matt Black with high-gloss burnished surfaces as well as two new AMG 20-inch wheels, available either in bicolor Matt Black with high-gloss burnished surfaces or bicolor Matt Black with high-gloss burnished rim flanges.
And at the rear, the roof spoiler and tailpipe trim that houses the twin round tailpipes also have been updated for added visual aggression.
In the cabin, the car has received new upholstery covers for the standard sports seats, while the AMG Performance seats are still available. Also new here is Mercedes-AMG's latest AMG Performance steering wheel, while the car's MBUX infotainment system is also said to get a new extended range of functions - which we take to be similar to those now offered in the upgraded MBUX system of the regular Mercedes-Benz A-Class and GLA.
Customers will also now be able to have their seats in a Bahia Brown Artico leather and Microcut microfibre combination, while an open-pore lime wood brown trim is now also being offered for the cabin of the GLA45.
The car continues to be powered by a 416bhp 2.0-litre unit that is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive system that allows it to hit 100km/h from a standstill in just 4.3 seconds.
