Mercedes-Benz expands SLC range with new entry-level SLC180 in the U.K.

The Mercedes-Benz SLC180 AMG Line has been added to the SLC range in the U.K., making the German carmaker's roadster range even more accessible than ever before.
The SLC180 features a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine producing 156bhp and 250Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 225km/h. It emits a low 134g/km of CO2 and delivers up to 20.7km/L combined. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard but customers can opt for a 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox.
The SLC180 AMG Line comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, Artico seats, Active Brake Assist, cruise control, air-conditioning, sports suspension and a sports braking system. The SLC Sport model line has also been discontinued to make the range even simpler, with the AMG Line now being the only option.
