MINI Cooper SE gets new JCW-inspired trim

MINI has unveiled a new 'Sport' trim for the MINI Cooper SE, which places the brands motorsport genes front and centre thanks to a host of sporty elements.

These touches include the use of the new John Cooper Works logo, with its symbolised chequered flag and red, white and black colour scheme on the octagonal front grille. This grille comes with a high-gloss black surround, and sits between head lights that also feature the JCW light signature, which utilises two horizontal stripes.

The Sport trim MINI Cooper SE also comes with diffusers at the front and rear, while further up, its mirror caps and roof come finished in Chilli Red. 18-inch two-tone wheels that sit ahead of JCW brake callipers finished in catching red, as well as added bonnet stripes, finish off the sporty look of the car.

Inside, the car comes with seats that are upholstered in synthetic leather with red stitching and a multi-coloured knitted material. A knitted covering also features on the door cards and dashboard, the passenger side of which comes adorned with a JCW-specific pattern inspired by the chequered flag.

The Sport trim MINI Cooper SE comes with a total of 215bhp and 330Nm of torque, allowing it to complete the century sprint in just 6.7 seconds. This power comes courtesy of a 54.2kWh battery, which enables a WLTP range of 402km.
