MINI to auction off three cars at Life Ball

This year's event marks the 10th consecutive year that MINI is collaborating with Life Ball to raise funds, and the carmaker will be doing its bid by auctioning off three specially designed Minis at the event, which will be held on July 17th.

The first of those cars is a black Countryman model that has been worked over by Calvin Klein's creative director Francisco Costa. The second is a MINI hatchback designed by Diane von Furstenberg, and the last has been penned by Kenneth Cole, who has come up with an industrial-themed MINI Convertible.

MINI had previously teamed up with Missoni, Ferré, Versace, Diesel, Mario Testino, and The Blonds for Katy Perry, for the event in previous years, and the carmaker aims to raise about €500,000 for AIDS research. All proceeds from the auction will benefit amfAR (the Foundation for AIDS Research).
