MINI unveils the production version of the Clubvan concept model

Having made its debut as a concept model earlier this year at Geneva, MINI has now officially confirmed that the Clubvan will have a production verson. Billed as the world's first premium compact delivery van, the Clubvan converts the Clubman passenger vehicle into something more appropriate for commercial use.

To accomodate the likes of short-haul delivery businesses such as florists, pizza restaurants and couriers, the Clubvan features a closed-off cargo area which sees the removal of the rear seats. For quick loading, the Clubman doors provide easy access from a wide-opening split rear hinged door as well as passenger side Clubdoor. Also most noticeable are the opaque, blocked-out rear side windows to help conceal the precious cargo from prying eyes.

The MINI Clubvan will be available in three model versions: the 98bhp MINI One Clubvan, the 122bhp MINI Cooper Clubvan and the 112bhp MINI Cooper D Clubvan.
