Myers Motors releases the NMG2

The Myers NMG2 is a two-seater, three-wheeled vehicle that combines unique design elements from both cars and motorcycles. The wide front end resembles a car while the rear narrows into a performance bike-like design.

The unique design is due to the car being a three-wheeler, with two normal wheels in front and just one for the rear. Another unique feature is the triple headlamps, with two on the side like a normal car and one in the middle, right on the bonnet. Inside, the NMG2 is a strict two-seater only.

The NMG2 is an electric-powered vehicle that is powered by lithium-ion batteries. Top speed for the NMG2 is 120km/h, while the car has a usable range of about 96km. Myers say though that they are planning a version that can achieve a range of 160km. The NMG2 is expected to start production at the end of 2010, and go on sale shortly after.
