New collections in Singapore mark car rental industry first for Asia

The Hertz Corporation, the world's largest general use car rental brand, has launched the Family and Prestige Collections at the airport and downtown locations in Singapore - an industry first for Asia.

The specially tailored Family Collection features spacious and comfortable vehicles from Ford that are ideal for travel with family and friends, while the Prestige Collection will see Hertz become the first car rental company in Asia to offer a dedicated fleet of elegant, high performance vehicles from BMW.

The Family Collection will feature both Ford Galaxy and Ford S-Max through a long and established partnership with Ford's local distributor, Regent Motors.

ISOFIX points safely secure child seats while a series of in-car safety features such as seven airbags provide high levels of safety. The Family Collection will include complimentary child seats with up to two additional drivers included at no extra cost so that parents can share driving duties.

For the Prestige Collection, Hertz will offer three popular BMW models including the latest 7 Series (banner), via an exclusive partnership with Performance Motors. The Prestige Collection will be complemented by features such as a satellite navigation system and in-car charging for portable devices.

Moreover, the Prestige Collection is also available with a personal chauffeur as part the Prestige Driven service. The latter VIP option includes airport transfers as well as hourly charters with professionally trained chauffeurs behind the wheel.

The spacious Family Collection and luxurious Prestige Collection can be reserved by make and model at Alexandra and Ubi Road downtown locations.
