The new Nissan X-Trail, which will be available in a 2.0-litre variant, is expected to launch here in Q4 2017. Upgrades for the new generation reinforce the X-Trail's position as the perfect car for family adventures. On the outside, a distinctive and robust redesign of the front end adds a new dynamism and more premium styling cues. At its heart is Nissan's latest V-motion grille, which is wider than before for a more impactful appearance on the road and is echoed in the design of the bumper beneath.
LED head lights feature a contemporary new version of the X-Trail's 'boomerang' Daytime Running Light signature and come with an Adaptive Front Lighting System. However, the biggest change to the profile of the new X-Trail is the addition of a chrome side moulding across the base of the two doors. The cabin of the new X-Trail boasts a raft of upgrades to enhance its existing high-quality feel. Upon entering the car, the first thing drivers will notice is the striking new D-shaped steering wheel, which provides a sportier look and feel.
Plus, the addition of satin silver detailing on the central spoke echoes the shape of the car's iconic V-motion front grille. Other cabin upgrades such as the leather-stitched dashboard and centre armrest add to the higher-quality ambience and increased refinement in the X-Trail. The new Nissan X-Trail also features new Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies such as an Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Intelligent 4x4, Intelligent Emergency Braking and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning.
