Nissan U.K. will kick its ongoing electrified product offensive up a notch with the launch of two all-new EVs in 2025, with a third scheduled to arrive in FY26.
One of the new models will be a third-generation version of the Nissan Leaf EV, which will see its production models roll off the line later in 2025. It will be developed on Nissan's CMF-EV platform, the same as the Ariya.
Joining the Leaf's launch in 2025 will be the all-new fully electric Micra, built on the AmpR Small platform as the Renault R5. It will be offered with two battery options: 40kWh and 52kWh. The new Micra will offer a maximum range of over 399km, with sales to begin before the end of 2025.
As well as that, Nissan will also build upgraded versions of the Nissan Qashqai, which will sport new e-POWER technology that enhances refinement and efficiency. In addition, the third-generation Juke - available for the first time as an EV - will make its debut in FY26.
Nissan has said that this launch of new EV models for Europe is part of a wider product update, with strategic new global model launches announced today across Japan, the U.S.A, China, Latin America, Middle East, India, Africa, and Oceania.
