Volkswagen has unveiled the all-new 2026 Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo, which - as described by the brand - takes all the features of the 2025 Tiguan and makes it faster and sportier.
Under the hood, the Tiguan Turbo features a more powerful version of the 2.0-litre engine that powers the rest of the Tiguan range, delivering 272bhp and 350Nm of torque.
In front, the Tiguan Turbo features an LED light bar and illuminated logo, along with slimmer head lights. At the rear, the roofline is extended by a spoiler that helps optimise aerodynamics, along with side flow elements in the D-post and air curtains in the front bumper. At the rear, an LED light bar and illuminated logo mirror the front. A black roof is standard on Tiguan Turbo models.
The Tiguan Turbo boasts 20-inch wheels and a striking colour palette that includes three new options introduced for 2025, including Avocado Green Pearl, Sandstone Uni and Monterey Blue Pearl.
Inside, the vehicle boasts enhancements such as premium materials like genuine American walnut wood decor, a wrapped and double-stitched centre console, and upgraded Varenna leather seating surfaces.
The top-spec Tiguan features an array of standard comfort and convenience features such as wireless charging, three-zone Climatronic Touch automatic climate, 30-colour ambient lighting, and 12-way power front seats, among others.
It also introduces four new airbags for a total of 10, and includes Volkswagen's safety-enhancing IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology, which includes features like Front Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control Stop and Go, and Emergency Assist, among others.
Availability and pricing of the all-new 2026 Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo for the U.S.A will be announced closer to its launch in Q4 2025.
