The U.K. sees an updated 2026 Nissan Ariya

Nissan U.K. has announced updates to its Ariya electric crossover for the model year 2026, which sports a refreshed exterior design, enhanced ride comfort, and new features to support everyday electric driving.

The 2026 Ariya evolves Nissan's "Timeless Japanese Futurism" design philosophy with a redesigned front appearance. Newly designed 19-inch wheels combine both aluminium and resin elements, while the exterior colour palette is expanded with a new Plasma Green colour. A range of monotone and two-tone body colours is also available.

Inside, a redesigned central console increases the storage space by up to 3.2 litres and incorporates a latest gen wireless charger. The 2026 Ariya is also equipped with the latest gen of NissanConnect with Google built-in, which has the In-Car Route Planner by Google Maps (standard across the lineup).

In addition, the 2026 Ariya also pre-conditions the battery as the car approaches a charging station, ensuring it reaches the optimal temperature for the fastest charge (11kW AC, 130kW DC). The dedicated NissanConnect Services app helps monitors battery levels, manages charging sessions, adjusts climate settings, and tracks tyre pressures directly from the driver’s phone.

Ride comfort is further enhanced through updated suspension tuning, delivering improved stability, reduced vibrations and a smoother driving experience. The 2026 Ariya also features ProPilot advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive distance control functions, supporting relaxed driving in stop-and-go traffic by assisting acceleration, deceleration, and stopping.

These technologies have been enhanced to ensure faster response times and better, smoother adjustments.
