Omologato is to continue its partnership with the Ecurie Ecosse motor racing team. The Ecurie Ecosse outfit is celebrating a truly rewarding weekend, where a famous double victory was secured in the new Henderson LMP3 Cup Championship at Donington Park. The team's #79 Ligier was expertly navigated to victory on both Saturday and Sunday with Colin Noble and Alasdair McCaig posting fastest lap after fastest lap in the latter stages of both races to close down the leaders and overtake for victory.
In a year where the Ecurie Ecosse team celebrates its 60th anniversary of a famous 24 Hours of Le Mans victory, Omologato will adorn the racing outfit as it takes on the famous Le Mans 24 Hours race this summer. Omologato attended a special event at CKL Developments to announce the partnership with the Scottish team who are preparing to take on the Le Sarthe circuit in June this year.
As a result of the continued partnership, Omologato is to continue its run of limited edition Ecurie Ecosse chronographs. The watch marks F1 racing driver-turned-entrepreneur David Murray's efforts in 1951 to get the tiny Edinburgh-based team to win back-to-back Le Mans titles, against all odds. The watch pays homage to the outstanding way the team overcame the titans of the motorsport world, including Ferrari, Aston Martin and Maserati.
