One of the most recognisable technology firms celebrates success story

ZF, one of the world's most recognised technology firms, is celebrating a series of success in 2014. Despite the challenging business environment, ZF increased its sales to more than €18 billion (approximately S$29 billion) this year, with €3.6 billion (approximately S$5.82 billion) in the Asia Pacific region.

The company also celebrates 20 years of passenger car axle assembly. The plant has been delivering 'Just-in-Time' and 'Just-in-Sequence' complete axle systems to automotive manufacturers' production lines for the past 20 years. With 15 such factories spreading over eight different countries, ZF has since assembled roughly 27 million ready-to-install axle systems. More notably, each set is individually tuned to the respective vehicles.

Last year alone, ZF's passenger car axle business clocked close to €2.8 billion (approximately S$4.52 billion), of which 50 percent of these sales were generated in the Asia Pacific region.
