Inside, the Antara gets a new centre console and better materials and colour options. The most important changes to the facelifted Antara however, are the revised engine line-up, which are now Euro 5 emissions compliant. There is a new 2.2-litre CDTI turbo diesel with two different power outputs, a 163bhp version and an 184bhp version.
The 163bhp version has 36bhp more than the engine it replaces, and is available in front or all-wheel drive as well as with manual or automatic six-speed transmissions, while the 184bhp has 34bhp more than its predecessors, and comes with all-wheel drive as standard, along with manual or automatic gearboxes. For the petrol engines meanwhile, the 2.4-litre four-cylinder unit now produces 170bhp, 30bhp more than before, and is available with front or all-wheel drive and comes with manual or automatic six-speed transmissions.
