Opel launches new Grandland Electric Long Range model

After the introduction of the AWD version in August 2025, Opel is now launching the Grandland Electric Long Range. Equipped with a 97kWh battery, the newcomer offers a WLTP range of up to 694km on a single charge, made possible by its STLA Medium platform.

The electric motor of the Grandland Electric Long Range offers an output of 170kW and 345Nm of torque. This allows the car to complete the century sprint in 8.8 seconds and achieve a top speed of up to 170km/h.

In addition to the three selectable driving modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport, the Grandland Electric Long Range’s suspension with Frequency Selective Damping technology guarantees maximum situationally adapted driving comfort.

The car also features numerous state-of-the-art features. Its entry-level Edition trim comes with Intelli-Seats with ergonomic recess in the seat surface, as well as multimedia infotainment with a 10-inch colour touchscreen and Intelli-LED headlights.

And for convenient access to the rear compartment, the sensor-controlled tailgate opens and closes electrically in the GS and Ultimate trims.
