Patent drawings unveils the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte

These are the alledged images of the new 2014 Maserati Quattroporte. According to AutoWeek.nl, these were sourced from the European Patent Office - of which its real intentions were unknown. While the car looks plain (understandably, which car wouldn't in black and white?), it shows styling cues which are akin to its two-door coupe stablemate - the GranTurismo.

Rumours also has it that the new four-door luxury sedan will come packed with two powerplant choices, least of the surprise that these will be from Ferrari. Fans of the trident will be able to see the sedan in the flesh at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show - though it is highly possible that pictures or videos will surface before the show.
