Porsche Asia Pacific gets new Chief Executive Officer

Hannes Ruoff has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Asia Pacific, which is based in Singapore. His appointment will take effect from 1 October 2022. Previously, Ruoff was the Area Manager of the Asia Pacific and Australia Region in the Overseas and Emerging Markets sales region for Porsche AG. He will be succeeding Arthur Willmann at the regional office, who has held the position since 2018.
Detlev von Platen, member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG states that the company sees many dynamic markets with growth and innovation potential in the Southeast Asia region, with the company's greater involvement with the region being on the cards. This is underscored by a recent opening of a local assembly facility in Malaysia.
