Porsche customer team finishes second at 24 Hours of Spa

Rutronik Racing, Porsche's customer team, and its number 96 Porsche 911 GT3 R narrowly missed out on the overall victory at the 24 Hours of Spa, finishing 8.7 seconds behind the winning Lamborghini from the Grasser Racing team.

Competing in Europe for the first time, Wright Motorsport finished the endurance race in Belgium's Ardennes 16^th overall, making it the second-best Porsche customer team. In the Pro-Am category, AV Racing by Car Collection Motorsport clinched class victory.

Elsewhere, Lionspeed GP stepped up the pace during the night. Starting from 45^th on the grid, its 911 GT3 R climbed as high as 13^th before a series of unfortunate events saw the team slip back to 21^st overall and fourth in the Bronze Cup.
