Porsche Korea has launched a limited edition Taycan Turbo K-Edition to mark the 10th anniversary of Porsche Korea.
The special edition car features design elements inspired by Korean culture and has been created by the Sonderwunsch experts at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, in collaboration with Porsche Korea and the Style Porsche design department. It will be offered exclusively in Korea.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo K-Edition features a special logo inspired by Korean royal stamps, and gets a special skyline graphic on its rear spoiler
The Taycan Turbo K-Edition comes with a unique logo that is based on a historical Korean royal stamp. Within this symbol is the 'Taycan' name, written in traditional Korean characters, while a racetrack has also been integrated into this logo. This logo has been hand painted in high-gloss black on the charging door port on the driver's side and appears on the headrests of the car's seats and its leather key holder.
The car also gets a special skyline graphic, created in close collaboration with Porsche Korea, that features the characteristics of Korean cities, buildings and landscapes. Integrated into this line drawing is the lively cityscape of Seoul, the traditional hanok house with its distinctive roof shape, bridges (the connecting elements of the Korean peninsula and a symbol of its economic power), and the Baekdu-daegan mountain range.
This is also hand painted in high-gloss black on the car's rear spoiler and its key housing and has been milled into its front door entry guards. It also appears as an embossed element on the lower part of the leather dashboard on the passenger side of the cabin.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo K-Edition is based on the Taycan Turbo which can deliver a total of 872bhp, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in 2.7 seconds.
