Pre-sold parking tickets available for new Sports Hub

The Straits Times reported that the Singapore Sports Hub has rolled out a new parking system to cope with the high turnouts expected for events at its arenas.

Pre-sold parking tickets will be available for events at the 55,000-seater National Stadium, so motorists can be sure of having a parking space when they arrive.

Holders of the tickets - costing $10.70 each - will be ushered to designated carparks at the Sports Hub. The tickets are valid for 24 hours from 7:00am on the event day.

Motorists who do not buy the pre-sold parking tickets will not be allowed into Stadium Drive, a new road that circles the National Stadium.

For those who do not drive, there are three MRT stations near the Sports Hub - Stadium, Mountbatten and Kallang. The Kallang station is linked by a 600-metre long sheltered walkway to the third storey of the National Stadium.

The pre-sold parking tickets can be bought on the Sports Hub website as well as at Singapore Post outlets.
