The car in focus is the Edo Competition-tuned Ferrari Enzo that infamously crashed at Targa Newfoundland 2011. Having witnessed the car gone into the wrecks, it is a comforting sight to see it return to life and more importantly, to evolve into something more spectacular than it previously promised. This brings us to the ZXX, the reformed version of the fateful Ferrari Enzo.
Currently being rebuilt in Germany, ZR Auto-owned model features a two-tone exterior with an aerodynamic body kit and a new exhaust system. We can also see revised taillights and Edo Competition wheels.
In terms of power, the ZXX will reportedly be motivated by a 6.3-litre V12 engine that produces 950bhp. In comparison, this is a 110bhp boost over the Edo's Enzo XX Evolution which is able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in under 3.2 seconds and a top speed in excess of 390km/h.
Much like the life cycle of a human, cars go through the inevitable phases of life, sickness (breakdowns), and eventual death. Perhaps that's why many of us have endeared ourselves to cars. Therefore, it is a rare sight to see a car getting a second lease of life and going through a rebirth.
