Renault has invested three billion euros in its "Renault International Game Plan 2027" to consolidate its offering and profitability at the global level. And as part of this strategy, the French automaker has unveiled the new Duster, described as a fully updated new gen vehicle.
The new Duster will be assembled at Renault's Chennai plant, one of the brand's five industrial hubs outside Europe. This decision confirms its ambitions to build vehicles close to their markets and to support the growth of the Indian automotive sector.

This elegant adventurer boasts a muscular body, with strong shoulder lines and generous ground clearance. Its front end features an oversized trapezoidal grille with a chrome trim, framed by full LED headlamps (depending on version), featuring the new light signature present across Renault's international range.
At the rear, continuity is ensured by LED lights echoing the style of the headlamps. A line of light runs between them, showcased by the glossy black and chrome of the beltline. Under the light strip, a black grained trim feature with a grooved design highlights the upmarket character of New Renault Duster. On top spec versions, the name "Duster" appears in relief, circled in yellow.
The new Duster will be available in six colours at launch: Jade Mountain Green, Pearl White, Moonlight Silver, Stealth Black, Sunset Red, and River Blue. Jade Mountain Green is a new, exclusive shade, a deep green inspired by the Himalayan forest, and enhanced by yellow inserts. A two-tone finish with a gloss black roof and rear spoiler (depending on version) will also be available from launch.
The cleanly designed one-piece horizontal dashboard of New Duster features the OpenR twin screen display, the brand's high-tech signature. In front of the driver is a multifunction steering wheel in grained coated fabric. The digital instrument cluster measures up to 10.25-inches (seven inches on entry-level versions) while the central 10.1-inch touchscreen manages multimedia and connected functions.
Dual-zone climate control with a PM2.5 particulate filter and ioniser improves interior air quality, while power-adjustable ventilated seats ensure optimum comfort in hot climates. Top-spec versions feature power front seats, a sliding central armrest, and grained coated upholstery with top-stitching and perforations. The door panels have been redesigned to include an armrest upholstered in the same colour as the seats. It also offers 518 litres of boot space.
Renault has also said that the new Duster will be available a few months after launch with the full hybrid E-Tech 158bhp powertrain, which includes a 1.8-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, two electric motors, and a 1.4kWh battery. It will also ship with a three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine offering a maximum output of 99bhp and 160Nm of torque.
