The F1 circus returns to the floodlights-lit street circuit of Marina Bay from September 20th to 22nd and race organiser - Singapore GP - has announced a number of activities that extends the high octane action from the race track to schools and movie theatres.

Your taste of Formula One track action begins at the movie theatres with the Hollywood production 'Rush' directed by two-time Academy Award winner Ron Howard - famous for directing movies like, Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code and A Beautiful Mind, among others.
1,500 lucky participants will get to watch the movie ahead of the scheduled release date - courtesy of Singapore GP - who will host free preview screenings of the film at Cathay Cineplexes on the 18th of September 2013.


If you are a Singaporean citizen or resident, simply register your interest to stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to the preview screenings.

Students from polytechnics and universities can understand more about the sport and get their engines running after attending talks by Sauber F1 team and Pirelli on the 18th of September.

The tour will offer students a first-hand look into the Paddock, team garages and hospitality homes, and will even extend to restricted areas like the race control, podium and commentary booths.
Additional perks of the tour include a visit to the F1 Village and a preview of the activities one can expect at the forthcoming night race.

Rush tells the adapted true story of the epic rivalry between legendary F1 drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 F1 season.
