Reveal of new Nissan Leaf now imminent

Nissan has unveiled new details of its soon to be unveiled Leaf all-electric vehicle.

The new information comes on the back of the final instalment of the firm's own Leaf Insights video series (embedded at the bottom of this article for your convenience), which showcases how the firm's new generation of electric vehicle technology will not only support everyday driving but also make EV ownership easier.

The upcoming Nissan Leaf is said to be able to add up to 250km of range in just 14 minutes of charging, and will come compatible with the NACS charging standard for customers in the U.S.A. The car is also said to feature a navigation-linked conditioning function that will optimise battery cooling based on the input destination.

Also supported is Vehicle-to-Load, allowing users to draw up to 1,500W of charge via one connector in-cabin and another in the cargo area (this feature is set to only on applicable grades of the Leaf).

Nissan states that the new, third generation Nissan Leaf will be revealed in the coming days.
