Rolls-Royce is rumoured to expand current lineup with two more models

With just four models in its lineup excluding the recently introduced Wraith, British luxury automaker Rolls-Royce is reportedly considering plans to launch two more models.

Naturally of the two, one model in consideration will be a convertible variant based on the Wraith. It is expected to be powered by a twin-turbo 6.6-litre V12 powertrain that develops 624bhp and 799Nm of torque. The model looks destined for production and could be launched in 2015.

The second model, believe it or not, may either be a crossover or a hatchback akin to the BMW 3 Series or 5 Series Gran Turismo. The company is rumoured to be considering both options with the crossover to be based on the parent company - BMW's - upcoming X5, while the hatchback could be based on the next generation BMW 7 Series.

If either model is green lit for production, it could be launched in 2016 and feature an all-wheel drive system.
