Saab 9-4X will officially debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show

The second of Saab's two new models will debut this fall at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 9-4X will go on sale in early 2011, as a 2012 model. Even though this is an entirely new crossover, it's still based on GM's Theta platform, which is shared with the Cadillac SRX crossover.

There's no official word on what engine's will power the 9-4X. However, it's been speculated that the new crossover will share the 2.0 litre turbo 4, and the 2.8 litre turbo 6 that power the new 9-5.
