Sgcarmart has entered into a collaboration with CardUp, which now means more rewards - in the form of miles, points, or cashback.

You can use CardUp to earn miles while paying for everyday bills, giving you more bang for your buck!

In exchange for a small admin fee, CardUp lets users turn big expenses like car loans, down payments, and monthly bills into miles, points or cashback. And the best part? The admin fee will also count towards the users’ rewards. For example, if a payment of $1,000 requires an admin fee of $26, CardUp will offer rewards for the full paid amount of $1,026.

This service will cover payment for services such as car loan repayment, income tax, insurance, and even down payments for both new and used cars*.

Worry not - CardUp not only makes payment easier, but is also quick and free to sign up for! First and foremost, interested users simply need to create an account and select "+Create Payment" from the dashboard to find the relevant payment type.

And as a quick note in the event that you were using this article as a guide: Car loan has its own category, car down payment falls under the "Car Down Payment" option in the "Miscellaneous" payment category, and other car-related expenses would be under the "Others" option, which is also found under the "Miscellaneous" payment category.

Afterwards, users will have to enter the recipient's payment details, which will then be charged to their cards along with a small fee. Recipients will then receive the funds via bank transfer in three business days. And from this point on, all the users need to do is to sit back, relax, and watch their miles, points, and cashback accumulate.

That's not all, this collaboration has also given birth to some exclusive offers. In the case of Car Loan payment, the brand is offering a lower admin fee percentage of 1.79% with the code SGCARMART179. What this means is that if the monthly repayment cost is $1,500, users only need to pay an additional 1.79% of the aforementioned amount**. With a credit card that offers 1.4 miles per dollar, that works out to approximately 2,138 miles earned on the final amount.

As for Car Down payment, with the code SGCARMART21, users can enjoy a low rate of 2.1% for the first $5,000. What this means is that if the downpayment is $100,000, the total admin fee will be $2,575, with a final charged amount of $102,575. On a credit card that earns 1.4 miles per dollar, users could earn approximately 143,605 miles from the transaction, potentially enough to redeem a Business Class ticket to Istanbul, Turkey, depending on the airline and redemption programme.
