Six-vehicle accident on the PIE causes long jam on the PIE

The accident occurred before the Serangoon exit on the PIE towards Changi at about 8:45 am, resulting in a traffic jam that stretched all the way back to Lornie Road. Journey time for peak hour traffic was badly affected due to the jam.
According to The Straits Times, only a woman in her late twenties was dispatched to Tan Tock Seng Hospital by the SCDF for neck injuries.
