The 30 limited edition cars are known as "Frozen Gray M3's" because of their matte-finish grey paint job.
In order to get one of these cars, you have to call a toll-free number when they go on sale July 21st. You also have to pay $77,000 US dollars. Plus, you have to sign a pledge that you won't damage the car's finish in any way.
Seriously, buyers are required to sign a 'maintenance agreement' in which the buyer agrees to™
- Never polish or wax their Frozen Grey M3
- Never run it through an automatic car wash
- Never strongly rub it
Also, BMW asks that the buyer 'immediately remove bugs, bird droppings, tree sap and fuel spills with a soft sponge. If the buyer doesn't sign, they don't get the car.
I guess these things only happen in America.
