The facelifted Ssangyong Tivoli has been officially unveiled at the launch event at Bedok Mall on 13 November 2019.
The facelifted car features a number of updates. Most notably is the improved exterior.
Now, the Tivoli features full LED head and fog lights along with new, sportier-looking bumpers.
This gives the Tivoli a stronger off-road character, which reflects on the company's background in rugged off-road vehicles like the Musso and Rexton. The facelift also brings two new exterior colours, Cherry Red and Platinum Grey, bringing the total of seven exterior colour options for the Tivoli.
Changes are also seen on the inside. In particular, the centre fascia is all new. The reorganised dashboard also features new infotainment features, which Ssangyong calls Blaze Cockpit. A 10.25-inch full digital cluster compliments the 8.0-inch infotainment system, which comes as standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The seats have been engineered with ergonomics in mind, and Ssangyong offers three different interior colours options – Black, Two-Tone Burgundy and Soft Grey.
With an interior width of 1,810mm, the new Tivoli promises improved passenger comfort.
Boot space has also increased slightly from the pre-facelift car, with a total space of 427 litres.
Also updated for the facelift is the powerplant. The Tivoli now features a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, that pushes out 161bhp and 260Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via an Aisin-derived six-speed automatic transmission. A diesel variant will also make its way to Singapore in the coming months.
The facelifted car also features improvements in the area of safety. SsangYong says the Tivoli is made with up to 79% of Advanced High Tensile Strength Steel.
It also features a suite of driver assistance features, such as Lane Departure Warning System, Lane Keeping Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
The facelifted Tivoli is now available from Motorway Ssangyong, the authorised dealer for Ssangyong cars in Singapore.
