The LTA has announced that it will open the new Tampines Viaduct on 19 February 2023.
The viaduct will offer motorists travelling from Tampines Expressway direct access to the Pan Island Expressway and Upper Changi road, as it bypasses the existing signalised junction at Upper Changi Road North/East.
Motorists will still be able to use the existing at-grade road networks to Upper Changi Road North, Upper Changi Road East, PIE(Tuas) and PIE(Changi).
The new flyover is but part of a host of infrastructure upgrades planned for the Loyang area, which is expected to see various road closures to facilitate construction work for new transport networks. Find out more about these closures here.
