Tesla was reportedly working on an upgrade for its Roadster. The Chief Executive Officer of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk, had previously hinted at something 'exciting' in the works for the full electric, pure two-seater sports car.
This upgrade turned out to be for the battery pack, which the marque claims will be able to drive the sports car for 400 miles (approximately 645km) on a single full charge. The currently battery pack has a range of about 245 miles (394km).
Musk added that the upgrade will take place within this year with more details to be released very soon.
