The new Audi A3 Cabriolet debuts in Singapore to complete the A3 family

The all new Audi A3 Cabriolet four-seater combines sporty design with technical excellence, making the Cabriolet the best in its class.

The acoustic soft top is available in the three exterior colours: Black, Gray and Brown, while the roof liner is available in black and lunar silver

The compact four-seater impresses with a lightweight design, efficient engines and high-performance assistance systems. The new Audi A3 Cabriolet has grown compared to the previous model, inlcuding luggage capacity, which has increased by 60 litres.

Audi offers headlights with LED technology as an option, which are the only LED headlights in the compact segment to offer variable headlight levelling control.

The soft fabric is stretched over a lightweight, magnesium-steel, kinematic mechanism and at the press of a button, the top opens or closes electro-hydraulically - in a brisk 18 seconds - even at speeds of up to 50km/h.

The fully automatic soft top has a glass rear window and the soft top's acoustic feature - a thick inner foam layer which reduces the low interior noise - is standard for the Singapore market.

A wind deflector is standard for the Ambiente trim line, and head level heating is an option for the front seats.

Infotainment components include a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system and MMI Navigation plus. The slender 7.0-inch monitor extends from the instrument panel electrically. The user terminal has a rotary/push button control that is designed as a touchwheel with MMI touch. The touchwheel's top surface is a touch-sensitive pad for inputting alpha and numeric characters.

The TFSI engine produces 125bhp from a 1.4-litre engine and accelerates the new A3 Cabriolet from nought to 100km/h in 10.2 seconds. The power is transmitted from the engine to the tarmac through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Other engines will follow - ranging from the 1.6-litre TDI with 110bhp to the 2.0-litre TFSI with 300bhp.

The all new Audi A3 Convertible is now available at Audi Centre Singapore, priced at $196,500 for the A3 Cabriolet Ambiente and $208,650 for the A3 Cabriolet Ambiente Plus (both prices as of press time).
