Traffic congestion along Braddell Road after car mounts centre divider

Traffic was brought to a halt along Braddell Road (towards Bartley) after Toa Payoh when a car mounted a centre divider on Tuesday (April 19th) morning, reported The Straits Times.
The Land Transport Authority tweeted about the accident at 6:56am and advised motorists to avoid the right lane. A subsequent update at 8:55am said there was congestion till the Pan Island Expressway. It was not clear how the accident occurred.
Photos sent by Straits Times reader Pang Evelyn showed a black stationwagon with its rear end atop the divider. A tow truck was also on the scene as police cordoned off two lanes with traffic cones.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at around 6:48am and dispatched a single ambulance. A person was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, SCDF added.
